JOB TITLE: Career Pathways Coordinator
PROGRAM: New American Integration, Employment
SUPERVISOR: New American Integration Program Director
WORKING HOURS: Full- time 40 hours per week. Primarily 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm with flexibility based on client and agency needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience in the education or employment field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with program implementation and tracking/monitoring required
- Minimum of 1-year experience with grant management; reporting, budgeting and project management required. Experience with diverse cultures, clients and/or refugee population is preferred
- Minimum experience of 1-year handling external partnerships

- Convey a polished, professional image and demeanor as this position requires dealing with outside vendors, employers, co-workers and agencies by representing the Institute at various external functions

- Ability to meet short timelines, under pressure
JOB SUMMARY:
The Refugee Pathways Coordinator oversees the RPC project including reporting, communicating with the funder, oversight of partner projects & progress, and conducts community outreach and continued program development.
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION:
Works under general supervision of the Director of New American Integration
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides outreach to community partners to attract potential program clients
- Works closely with ethnic communities and other partners to ensure flow of referrals
- Presents at IIB’s Job Club and orientation to attract new clients
- Conducts intake and assessment of all referrals
- Works closely with IIB employment manager, and ONA coordinator to work collaboratively/ collectively on Leadership Mentorship Initiative and hosting of job fairs.
- Refers appropriate clients to in house programming or partners.
- Maintains on-going dialogue with re-credentialing partners along with local Department of Labor, employers and employment partners to be kept current with employment trends
- Refers clients with non-employment related barriers to IIB employment case manager for follow up
- Maintains complete case notes in compliance with grants
- Oversees compliance of partners and staff regarding grant requirements
- Completes reporting in compliance with grant
- Conducts regular monthly meetings with all external partners and regular weekly meetings with internal team.
- Attends local employment coalition meetings as active member
- Provides regular outcome reports to supervisor
- All other duties as assigned
