The International Institute of Buffalo hosted a visit by the US Department of State’s Kiera Berdinner and Kristina Morelli, New York State Refugee Coordinator, to discuss issues ranging from the recent settlement of Afghan refugees in Western New York to community resettlement collaborations. Also participating were representatives from Catholic Charities of Buffalo, Jericho Road Community Health Center, Jewish Family Services of WNY, and Journey’s End Refugee Services.
