About Our Mission

Other Refugees

The International Institute of Buffalo is a non-profit organization that serves refugees, asylees, and other immigrants with humanitarian protected status who have already been admitted to the United States under the auspices of our national agency, the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI). We are not a government agency and are not sponsoring immigrants through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services (USCIS) at this time. Our overseas clients come to us via the United States Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP). Please visit The UN Refugee Agency website for more information about the refugee and immigration process.

Do You Qualify

Buffalo is a welcoming city and recognizes New Americans’ value to our community. If you or someone you know is a new immigrant to Buffalo, or you are a refugee and your resettlement agency is no longer serving you, you may be eligible for some of our programs. Our team can help you find resources, community and any other help that you need. Contact our Integration Case Manager at (716) 883-1900 for more information.
