Help Refugees Without Spending Any Money…

By April 11, 2025No Comments

We need your help. In 2024 alone, upstate agencies assisted 6,785 people as they rebuilt their lives. Since 2017, NYSESRP funding from Albany has sustained and supported refugee resettlement agencies as they do the vital work of empowering refugees to become economically and socially self-sufficient as they put down roots in our communities.

Nationwide, 50% of resettlement agencies closed during the first Trump administration when refugee resettlement was curtailed. Organizations in New York avoided that fate because of NYSESRP, protecting the refugee resettlement infrastructure and the cultural and institutional knowledge of the staff at resettlement agencies across the state. Now, we need you to ensure this vital funding stream remains intact.
