Representatives from Spectrum Health meet with IIB’s employment team
The International Institute of Buffalo (IIB) is collaborating with Spectrum Health and Human Services to connect IIB clients with services that focus on promoting mental wellness and coping strategies to encourage emotional healing and well-being. Access to Spectrum’s Community Mental Health Promotion and Support program (H.O.P.E. COMHPS) will bolster the holistic services we already offer clients.
The partnership will include:
- Individual and family-supportive counseling
- Mental Health screenings and referrals to licensed mental health professionals
- Connection to community resources
- Techniques and tips for reducing stress and developing coping skills
- Ongoing education
“The launch of this new collaboration not only fills important gaps in the services we already provide but also offers new outlets for our clients to successfully navigate their acclimation and integration as neighbors and valued members of our Western New York Community,” said IIB’s Director of Language and Employment Services Director Dominic Floro.
