We welcomed 50 New Americans from 25 countries while they took their citizenship oaths at the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services Naturalization Ceremony in Buffalo this morning. The countries from which these new American citizens traveled are:
Bangladesh, Burma, Canada, China, Colombia, Congo (Kinshasa), Cuba, Eritrea, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, India, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Liberia, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Somalia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Yemen.
