This is a 2-hour virtual event about working in a K-12 public school setting in New York State.

This simple 2-hour training will consist of a presentation, videos for discussion, as well as a brief Q&A period. There will be additional materials for you to self-study that will serve as a beneficial resource for you to use as review prior to your upcoming interpreter appointments. This will be sent to your email after the training.
THIS TRAINING IS CENTERED ON INTERPRETING AND TRANSLATING IN AN AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AND IS SPECIFIC TO THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM IN NEW YORK STATE.
All states vary in their public education standards and curriculum.
THIS TRAINING IS MORE FOCUSED ON FOREIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETING/TRANSLATING.
