From Website: *The Story Behind Las Brasas Las Brasas was started in 1997 by Ivan’s parents, Juan and Maria Guitron in Eugene, Oregon. Sadly in 2002 Juan passed away very suddenly and Maria soon after had to shut down the restaurant. Ivan has always had a dream of continuing the legacy of the Jalisco-style recipes his parents had started. In 2016 Ivan’s father-in-law decided that the dream should become a reality. Jim and Ivan along with their wives, Heidi and Dana, started Las Brasas Mexican Grill with the goal of bringing the delicious flavors of Jalisco, Mexico to Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.*
