For over a century, the International Institute of Buffalo (IIB) has been a place for the community to convene to discuss important issues, especially those concerning our immigrant and refugee population.
Recently, IIB was the venue for round table discussions where members of the Asian American Federation (AAF) leadership joined elected officials and local organizations to discuss the various challenges and opportunities facing Buffalo’s Asian American population. Discussions covered building effective cultural outreach for civic engagement and connecting upstate and downstate Asian American Pacific Islander groups and other stakeholders.
The Asian American Federation (AAF) is the strongest leadership organization advocating for better policies, services, and funding that lead to more justice and opportunity for 1.5 million Asian New Yorkers. Find out more at www.aafederation.org.
