As summer vacations and days in the pool come to an end, The International Institute of Buffalo needs your help getting our newest Americans prepped to head back to school!
As with the many other transitions these families have made for their new lives in the U.S., the new experience of going to school can be a difficult one. Many of them will be going for the very first time! We are seeking donations of basic school supplies for children of all ages, specifically:
- Notebooks
- Folders
- Three-ring binders
- Loose leaf paper
- Pencils and sharpeners
- Erasers
- Pens
- Highlighters
- Rulers
- Index Cards
- Crayons
- Colored Pencils
- Glue sticks
- Child-safe scissors
- Pencil cases
We will also accept gift cards to stores such as Dollar Tree/Family Dollar, Amazon, Target, and Walmart that we can use to purchase those supplies.
