Karina KrantzKarina Krantz, one of our former refugee clients from Ukraine, officially opened the doors to her new boutique market in Pendleton. Filled with Love Buffalo Market focuses on offering options for healthier and diverse foods, beverages, and other specialty items. It features a wide selection of Eastern European delicacies, organic foods, and additional products sourced from local farmers and businesses.

Patrons will have the option to round up their orders to the nearest dollar or make a stand-alone financial contribution to support the International Institute of Buffalo’s important work assisting newly arrived refugees as they begin their new lives in Western New York.

Krantz arrived with her family in 1995 and has since established herself as a successful entrepreneur; her popular artisan cupcakes and bar cart trailer can be found anywhere from private parties to high-profile corporate events around the region. Krantz has previously supported civilians affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine and other refugee crises by co-hosting the successful We Stand for Peace fundraiser featuring other local small businesses.
