A special thank you to our friends at Molina Healthcare, who stopped by to donate backpacks filled with notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, water bottles, crayons, and other school supplies to help the New American students we serve. The backpacks also included various hygiene products to assist students’ health and wellness this school year. Acquiring all the requisite school supplies at the beginning of any given academic year is an expensive proposition for any family. Still, it can be especially difficult for kids starting their lives in a new community.
A good education is one of the first steps to successfully achieving the American Dream, and these donations will help these students get off to a fantastic start!
