IIB Statement on the Anniversary of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine

One year ago today, Russia invaded Ukraine, causing the worst refugee crisis in a generation. On this tragic anniversary, we continue to stand with the Ukrainian people, no matter where the diaspora temporarily placed them.

IIB stands ready to assist refugees from Ukraine. We continue our century-long tradition of supporting refugees and immigrants in need by connecting them to vital services and programs.

However, we join the world in praying for when the threat no longer remains, and they can reunite with the people they love in a safe Ukraine, free from Russian occupation.
