The IIB team members and New American clients that make up our successful Professional Pathways program, sponsored by the NYS Office of New Americans, sat down for an interview with Upwardly Global.
Our Professional Pathways program helps immigrants, refugees, and asylees return to former professional careers or to continue higher education to attain the credentials they need to ply their trade in the USA. We’ve helped people in occupations, including accountants, pharmacists, and architects. We also train people to work as rank-and-file employees in industries including manufacturing, landscaping, and hospitality.
Upwardly Global is a national organization that aims to “eliminate employment barriers for immigrant and refugee professionals while advancing the inclusion of their skills into the U.S. economy.”
