THIS IS A FOUR DAY RECURRING EVENT – EACH DAY COVERS A SEPARATE TOPIC.

Dates: 8/27/24 – 8/30/24

  • Tues, 8/27

If you can, please offer a donation of any amount you’d like to help cover the operating costs of our diverse departmental offerings, or even perhaps for an interpreter who cannot otherwise afford to pay for training.

Did you know? Interpreters need to be more than just multilingual. They also need to deliver professional and effective communication!

Topics to include, but are not limited to:

– An overview of interpreting

– Standards of practice

– Ethics, conduct, and professionalism

The schedule is as follows:

Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time, all four days:

  • Tues, 8/27
  • Wed, 8/28
  • Thur, 8/29
  • Fri, 8/30

General Admission and Certificate of Completion: $100 — THIS IS FOR ALL FOUR DAYS. This pays for admission and certificate of completion; you will only receive a certification if you attend live or view the recording and submit a summary.

For those currently contracted with the Institute already, please check your email for the promo code to get a discount on the ticket price. If you are unable to use the promo code to get your discounted ticket, please let us know.

Certificate of Completion: For attendees who would like to receive a certificate of completion, please select the certificate of completion add-on during check out. If you do not select this, you will not receive a certificate.

Buying a certificate does not guarantee receipt of one – you must either attend live for the entire duration or submit a summary of the recording when it is made available. If this is not completed, you will not receive your certificate.
