New Refugee Families Arriving in March: Basic Household Goods Needed!

By the end of March we expect to assist 13 newly arrived refugees resettle and integrate into our community. Amongst our new American neighbors will be a family of five arriving from Burma that includes three children under the age of ten and a family of four arriving from Iraq that includes a four-year-old and his grandfather.

Donations of simple, basic household goods go a long way towards helping our newest neighbors during their initial days navigating new surroundings.

While we are unable to accept clothing donations, the following household goods are urgently needed at this time:

  • New/Gently used pots and pans
  • New/Gently Used Cooking Utensils including cutting knife
  • New/Gently Used plates, bowls, drinking glasses, and teacups/coffee mugs
  • New/Gently Used flatware
  • New/Gently Used tea kettles
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • NEW Twin and Full Sized Bedding Sets
  • NEW Pillows
  • NEW Throw Blankets
  • Shampoo
  • Age Appropriate Toys
  • Car Seats for Children
