Representatives from Gilbane Building Company recently stopped by our Delaware Avenue location this week to brighten the season for a New American Family. They dropped off a large gift package with multiple snow shovels, a vacuum, blankets, and a television. It’s all part of our Gifts for Good Neighbors program to help our city’s newest neighbors integrate into the community while they navigate what, for many, is their first Buffalo winter.
We will deliver the gifts to one of our newly arrived refugee families at the end of the month.
The Gilbane representatives who pitched in are part of the company’s “empoWer” program, an Employee Resource Group of empowered individuals collaborating to deliver a global platform that connects, attracts, and inspires women to thrive and excel in their personal and professional lives.
