Why: This forum is an opportunity for people to give feedback on the importance of Language Access in our community. Language Access refers to the ability of people to access services and information in their native language. It is guaranteed under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, or national origin in federal programs and by state, local, and private entities that receive federal funding.
