The International Institute of Buffalo is dedicated to offering safe, free and confidential services to those affected by domestic violence and human trafficking. Each year, we help hundreds of survivors reclaim their independence. We offer these services regardless of age, immigration status, country of origin or type of exploitation.

Community Training Programs

In addition to working with survivors, our staff provides the Western New York community with professional training and presentations aimed at increasing awareness and identification of human trafficking and domestic violence. These efforts allow professional partners to work more effectively with survivors from all backgrounds.

If you are experiencing Domestic Violence or Human Trafficking, call our 24-hour helpline at (716) 970-2991. Law enforcement or victim service providers helping someone needing services after regular business hours may call this number.

Our Survivor Support Intake Line is (716) 331-4711 Monday-Friday from 9 am -5 pm. Calls will be returned within 24-48 hours.

Domestic Violence

We provide free assistance to any immigrants or refugees in unsafe and abusive relationships, regardless of immigration status.

Human Trafficking

We help survivors of sex or labor trafficking regain their independence and take back full control of their lives.
